What to expect when you arrive

We are on the ground floor at Shop 4, 23 Fairwater Drive. Parking is free and off-street, right at the door — worth knowing if you are arriving sore or with a pram.

Monday and Friday run through to 7:00 PM, and both weekend mornings are staffed, so an appointment does not have to come out of a work day.

No referral is needed, and HICAPS is on site so your health fund rebate is processed at the appointment and you pay only the gap.

Before You Book From Ellis Lane

Answers to the questions we hear most from patients in Ellis Lane and nearby suburbs.

What if you are not the right people to help?

We will say so. If your presentation belongs with a GP, an obstetrician, a paediatrician or an emergency department, we will tell you at the first visit rather than book you in for more of the wrong thing.

Do you do the Webster technique?

Yes. It is a pelvic and soft tissue treatment aimed at reducing asymmetric tension — it is not performed on the baby, and no practitioner can promise a baby will turn.

When should I start antenatal chiropractic care?

You can begin at any stage of pregnancy. Many women start in the first trimester for preventive care, while others seek treatment when discomfort arises. It's never too early or too late.

Is any of this covered by Medicare?

Standard consultations are not, and there is no bulk billing for them. The narrow exception is a GP Chronic Disease Management plan, which requires an eligible chronic condition and a GP referral — bring the paperwork if you have one.

Are you open on weekends?

Yes. We are open seven days: Monday and Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your health fund card, any relevant scans or reports you already have, a list of medications, and clothing you can move in. Allow 45 to 60 minutes for an initial consultation.
